With DeliveryApp your fleet drivers will be paid by the mile and receive additional money for things like waiting time and loading or unloading goods from the vehicle.
Register your fleetCollect any number of items from one location and deliver to a specified address. Loading and unloading by your fleet drivers may be required.
Your fleet driver and vehicle would be booked for 5 or 10 hours to make
multi-stop deliveries. The goods will require loading and unloading.
– Half day = 100 miles or 5 hours
– Full day = 200 miles or 10 hours
Mileage includes the return to the collection location.
Involves collecting goods from various addresses and delivering them to different destinations (max 70 stops). Your fleet driver may be required to load and unload the vehicle.
Collect packages from a single address and deliver them to various destinations within the same postcode area. Your fleet driver will be required to load and unload the vehicle.
Two of your fleet drivers may need to help customers move heavy or bulky goods, such as furniture or large appliances, or load and unload goods onto the vehicle.
Two of your fleet drivers will be required to load and unload, unpack or assemble goods, or place them in a specific room for a customer. Goods tend to be high-value or require special care, your fleet members will require Public Liability Insurance to do white glove deliveries.

Absolutely! You can start using DeliveryApp as a driver and switch to a fleet account later on. To change your account to a fleet, simply go to your profile page on the app. Once changed, you’ll be able to add as many vehicles and drivers as you need.
No need to rush. Start with one driver and vehicle and then add more later.

It is your responsibility to ensure that your drivers use DeliveryApp to complete their assigned deliveries. This is important because customers have paid for live tracking and proof of delivery, which they can only receive through the app.
Please note that if a driver fails to use DeliveryApp for a delivery, there will be a 30% deduction in payment. It is therefore essential that all deliveries are completed using the app.
Throughout the onboarding process, you will have complete access to our driver onboarding team who can assist you with any queries or concerns you may have. Once you are activated, our Operations Team will be available to support you and your drivers with your deliveries.

There are four types of insurance you will require to be a driver for DeliveryApp:
1. ‘Hire and Reward’ insurance
You will be legally required to take this out as it is required when you are carrying items in return for payment.
2. ‘Goods in Transit’ Insurance
This level of insurance is available at a low monthly rate from most vehicle insurance providers.
3. ‘Public Liability’ Insurance
Public Liability Insurance covers you against claims for accidental injury or property damage caused to third parties while your fleet are delivering.
4. ‘Employers Liability’ Insurance
Employers Liability Insurance covers you if any of your fleet drivers gets injured as a result of their work.
Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) – Optional
The Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) is a government agency in the UK that provides criminal record checks. DBS is optional, but it may be required for some deliveries. Having it could open up more job opportunities for your fleet.
